I love it! One of the biggest challenges I found with making my own skate RPG was figuring out how to involve the players. Sure, you can do a bunch of tricks, but that's just maths and rolls. Boring! Here are some ideas to add challenges for your sk8er players: 1. Part Challenge: You've got x tries to nail 3 tricks for your video part. These tricks can't be the same as someone else, or you get less recognition for your part. Add a Cred stat that rises and falls according to how well you do. 2. "Dungeon Run": A skateboarding obstacle course, like a route through a mall, where you have 2 options to clear each obstacle. Oh, and the cops are chasing after you. 3. Theme: The skaters are werewolves chasing down vampires, and sticking broken skateboards into them to stop their bloody reign. Or the skaters are trying to stop a zombie invasion by killing shufflers with flip tricks. This one stretches the idea of a Sk8 RPG, but tells an interesting story about skaters facing weird challenges (kind of like how Buffy the Vampire Slayer was a story about a cheerleader killing vampires).
